Structural balance is exemplified in this single pedestal lacquered desk. It is from the "Ponte" line designed by J. Wade Beam for Brueton circa 1981. Restored, featuring a thick pill shaped top with an integral touch latch pencil drawer is separated from the cylindrical pedestal by a brass reveal, supported on a single side pedestal base with a small drawer and one file drawer all resting on a recessed brass base. This is an extremely well made desk will add drama to any space.
