Set of six vintage walnut dining chairs manufactured by Broyhill for the Brasilia collection circa early 1960s. An extremely desirable example of midcentury American furniture design. The chairs feature Oscar Niemeyer’s sculptural curved backs. Professionally refinished in dark walnut stain. The 6 chairs consist of 4 armless chairs and two captains chairs with straight crest rails with stylized starburst backs. Resting on square tapering legs and seats upholstered in off-white. All chairs are sturdy and comfortable with high backs for better support. Can be purchased as is or covered with the fabric of your choice (cost of upholstery fabric and labor not included).
