1940's Mid-Century Modern Butterfly Wingback Chairs

1940's Mid-Century Modern Butterfly Wingback Chairs

These butterfly wing backs are just gorgeous. Each chair represents a truly novel twist on the centuries-old design of the wing chair, reminiscent of Edward Wormley's designs for Dunbar, perfect for today. Impressively built, the exaggerated enveloping wings and tall back make for a truly comfortable chair. Featuring a button-tufted back and wood-trimmed roll arms with subtle brass tack nailhead accents help highlight the charming silhouette while piping details add dimension. Restored and newly upholstered in the most amazing avocado green velvet!
