1940s Pair Neoclassical Lacquered Carved Swan Side Chairs

Pair of neoclassical armchairs in black lacquer finish, circa 1940s. Each having a round reeded crest rail continuing to carved rosette arm terminals, upright carved swans joining the reupholstered back and seat cushion in black with silver nail-head detailing. The apron has floral medallion carving and stands on sabre legs. There are no apparent makers marks.

Condition:

Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Re-lacquered and re-upholstered.
