1970s Flat-Bar Brass Plated Set of Six Dining Chairs by Brueton
Inspired by the iconic Brno chairs, these hefty flat bar cantilevered chairs by Brueton. Distinguished by its flowing lines, featuring stainless steel frames in a rare brass plated finish. Welded, ground and polished into a seamless unit that adjoins to the seat creating the illusion of balance without a traditional back frame making it a incredible feat of engineering. The cantilever design gives them a slight bounce, making them even more comfortable. The chairs maintain their original button tufted upholstery in remarkably good condition. Some very slight imperfections remain, the frames are fine to be used as is, but definitely need a replating to bring them back to their little-lost glory. They can be purchased as-is or we can quote you for reupholstery and replating. Original paper manufactuerer's label to underside, ‘Made by Brueton Industries Inc.’ 1970's design at its best, top notch quality from Brueton Industries as always. The design is exquisite and chairs are very well made ready for decades more of use and enjoyment.

Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Upholstery in remarkably great condition. Light cosmetic wear to the frames no dents, dings, rust, etc but the clear coat and brass plating appears to be coming off (as shown in the picture), definitely could use replating.
