Brass Dining Table by Bernard Rohne for Mastercraft

Brass drum table base beautifully designed by Bernard Rohne for the Mastercraft Company. However, geometric to the eye, this substantial piece could be used as a dining table base (statuary marble with slight gold veining would look very clean and chic) or an entry foyer table base. Depending on the chairs this table is large enough to fit 6-8 people around it comfortably.

Mastercraft was one of a handful of 20th American furniture companies that produced beautifully designed and excellently crafted pieces. Mastercraft founder William Doezema often employed well-known artisans such as John Widdicomb and Bernard Rohne to design for the Mastercraft label. Mastercraft, known for its artistic design, often used exotic woods and brass detailing.

Condition:

Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Very nice vintage condition, barely there surface scratches to glass top and the brass base does have light tarnish enhancing the vintage appeal.
