Charming Set of Four Suede Ward Bennett Brickel Armchairs

Fully restored set of four "Landmark" arm chairs designed by Ward Bennett for Brickel Associates, circa 1970s. The outwardly simple construction has a frame of solid wood, impeccably joined, with an arched backrest and sloping arms that extend into the front legs. The rear legs are close-set and splayed. Upholstered in taupe colored suede, nicely patinated, subtle variations in natural suede leather add to the uniqueness of each chair. The combination of modern, sleek frames and soft suede offer a clever twist on a classic. The chairs have wonderful proportions and look amazing from every angle.

Good. Reupholstered. Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Professionally re-finished frames are strong and sturdy, minimal wear on the suede leather upholstery, nicely patinated.
