Exemplary pair of modernist slipper lounge chairs, circa 1950s. This extremely rare and fabulous design is routinely attributed to the work of the venerable American interior designer William "Billy” Haines. Similar in style to his popular "Hostess" chair. Excellent Restored Condition. These are beautifully detailed with dark walnut hand rub finish, upholstered in a soft white velvet tufted and button decking. Functional and dramatic pieces suitable for anchoring an important room. The craftsmanship is second to none with an intricate attention to detail.
