Four Charming Ward Bennett Brickel Armchairs

Fully restored set of four "Landmark" armchairs designed by Ward Bennett for Brickel Associates, circa 1970s. The outwardly simple construction has a frame of solid wood, impeccably joined, with an arched backrest and sloping arms that extend into the front legs. The rear legs are close-set and splayed. Upholstered in moss green colored velvet, nicely patinated add to the uniqueness of each chair. The combination of modern, sleek frames and soft velvet offer a clever twist on a classic. The chairs have wonderful proportions and look amazing from every angle.

Excellent. Refinished. Reupholstered. Wear consistent with age and use. Professionally re-upholstered and re-finished frames are strong and sturdy, nicely patinated.
