Milo Baughman 'Scoop' Chairs for Thayer Coggin circa 1955

Milo Baughman 'Scoop' Chairs for Thayer Coggin circa 1955

Spectacular pair of vintage oversized 'Scoop' lounge chairs by Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin, circa 1950s. Substantial solid wood frame’s geometric lines are softened by cylindrical supports. In the more visually interesting configuration that features the floor stretchers across the front and back rather than the sides. Each chair has a small incline with custom channel tufted design perfectly positioned for ultimate comfort. Meticulously restored by our team of expert craftsmen. The solid wood frames have been ebonized black and the upholstery has been covered in a subtle pebbled gray leather.

    Height: 31" x Width: 30" x Depth: 33"
    Seat Height: 17"

Excellent. Reupholstered. Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use.
