Pair of Platinum Gray "Deco" Lounge Chairs by Vladimir Kagan

Pair "Deco" Lounge Chairs by Vladimir Kagan

Iconic and sculptural ”Deco” lounge chairs model 7530 by Vladimir Kagan - one of the most influential and celebrated designers of the 20th century, originally designed in 1969. Hailing from Kagan's iconic "Omnibus" series, featuring the dramatic and completely unique forms that only Kagan could create, these are sure to delight discerning enthusiasts of Mid-Century Modern design. Newly upholstered in a soft and luxe smoked platinum gray velvet fabric. Each fully upholstered chair features a square seat-back supporting channel-tufting, consisting of three channels that seamlessly continue from the seat to the back. The supports on each side offer curved streamline arms dynamically juxtaposed with rectilinear cut-outs at a right angle at the base, an homage to Art Deco design. In the words of fashion designer Tom Ford, it retains "that potency and flair that is new and fresh" after all these decades. With its monochromatic palate and graphic presence, these chairs would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Deco to contemporary.
