Influenced by the classic Art Deco style, rarely seen or offered are the Tycoon chairs designed by one of the world's premier interior designer Jay Spectre. The Jay Spectre Collection – a 60-piece collection of furniture was designed for the Century Furniture Company and unveiled as part of Bloomingdale’s centennial celebration. Spectre’s furniture is very sensuous, with lots of curves. Very comfortable, newly recovered in a top grain black leather creates a luxurious, modern appearance which is also visually attractive. Spectre was named one of the top eight Designers of America by the Smithsonian Institution as part of their “Giants of Design 1979” exhibition and then named to the Interior Design Hall of Fame in 1986.
