Six Restored Black Lacquer Dining Chairs by Michael Taylor for Baker

Sophisticated and elegant set of mid-century modern sculptural dining chairs designed by the American design legend Michael Taylor for Baker Furniture, circa 1960s. The set includes two (2) host and four (4) side chairs. This particular series is one of the most coveted of Mr. Taylor’s seating designs, features the designer's signature interlocking carved rings finished in gold leaf on the back of the chairs. In excellent condition wood frames having been professionally refinished and the seats reupholstered. The black hue contrasts nicely against the refined, moss green mohair upholstery. Comfortable, sturdy and suitable for heavy regular use.

 

The host chairs measure: 24 inches wide x 20 inches deep x 32.5 inch height and 26 inch arm height.
