T.H. Robjohn-Gibbings Model WMB Slipper Chairs for Widdicomb, 1950s

Beautiful pair of slipper lounge chairs, model WMB, timeless and elegant design by the renowned architect and furniture designer T. H. Robsjohn-Gibbings. This model is perhaps the most iconic of Robsjohns-Gibbings chairs. Produced by The Widdicomb Furniture Company, Grand Rapids, Michigan, circa 1950's. Each fully restored newly reupholstered in a luxe cotton velvet fabric with tufted seats. Quality is evident in every detail, from the welted cushions to the rich-looking walnut finish frames. Deep, generous proportions make these chairs exceptionally comfortable. Elegant, clean lines that look good from any angle. Truly gorgeous works of art.
